Over thirty years ago, J&V launched POLYURETHANE outsoles — a highly technical material that provides lightweight benefits combined with durability and unique mold definition opportunities. "Dual Density" Polyurethane was subsequently launched to address the growing Comfort market. More technical features were added such as "Oil and Slip Resistant" properties featured in combination with our high quality PU. In addition, soft, tacky textured "Elastomeric" PU and translucent capabilities are available with our "TPU" (thermo-molded Polyurethane). Today we continue to mold various forms of PU outsoles and Insoles in both our domestic Lewiston, ME factory as well as our new state of the art China facility in Zhongshan. Industrial PU parts continue to be available in Lewiston, ME. |
