Over 4 years ago, Jones & Vining worked together with a reputable chemical company to develop a proprietary material EMAX®, based on increased consumer demand for lightweight footwear as well as the growth and popularity of athletic footwear. Emax® is a performance outsole material with Superior Abrasion Resistance (comparable to rubber), is extremely lightweight and has excellent surface design capabilities. Since our Emax® has such excellent Abrasion features, in many instances "no" or "limited" amounts of rubber are required. The end result is an extremely lightweight performance outsole. Emax® can be prepared in two molding applications: Compression molded or Injection molded. Emax® is molded in China. |
