Lasts are the single most important scientific element in shoemaking. The expert manufacture of lasts is the foundation for a well proportioned, comfortable, responsive, and fashionable shoe. Handcrafted first in wood by JV’s highly skilled last technicians, the last is transformed to plastic for ease and fast reproduction. Last models can be made domestically, with data transfer of specifications sent to our Compu-Last® equipped factories. Our JV last factories can partner with our Asian Compu-Last® equipped firms in Thailand or China for quick and easy data transfer for guaranteed precision and accuracy.
